Fall Series: Won 4-3 by the Hodgetts Ho's
Winter Series: Won 4-1 by the Orchard O's
Spring Championship Series: Won 4-2 by the Orchard O's

Game 1: Hodgetts Ho's (L) @ Orchard O's (W) (By Forfeit)
Game 1 did not occur due to forfeit from the Ho's squad. The O's however were ready to play, with rookie call up Cam Pollard on the roster for his first game this season. Unfortunately; he was only needed for this one game and he was sent back down to the Grandpa O's farm team shortly after. The O's did take part in an inter-house game of shinny with the super line (Finney, Ojo and Pollard) against the veteran lineup (Young, Large and Langley) with Orchard random Helen Keller joining them.
Game 2: Hodgetts Ho's (L) (Carmichael) @ Orchard O's (W) (Irish) (10-40)
Goals: ( O's- Finney (10), Langley (8), Large (7), Ojo (6), Irish (5), Young (4). Ho's- Mulji (4), Carmichael (3), Graffi (2), Hill (1))
Goalies: O's- Young (9/11, .818 sv.%, 6 GAA) Irish (22/30, .733 sv.%, 16 GAA). Ho's- Carmichael (33/60, .550 sv.%, 40.5 GAA)
Game 2 was an easy victory for the dominant O's as the Ho's were missing most of their key players due to sports commitments, taking the Ho's 40-10. After a no show in Game 1, the O's expected a big turnout from Hodgetts but obviously that was not the case. The O's tallied 10+ goals in the first, only allowing two in on the other side. Goaltender Walter Young who looked phenomenal in the first, on pace for a 6 GAA, and ohha shutout (9GAA), was removed so he could rest. Spencer Irish, backup goaltender for the O's, was put in for the remaining 2 periods and put on a show, proving that he is just as reliable as the legendary Young. On the other side of the gym was Austin Carmichael, retired OHHA referee, who was signed during the off-season by the Ho's. He let in 27 goals in 2 periods of play. He was pulled for the remainder of the game. long with dispicable offense, the Ho's fell short again, this time by a record margin of 30 goals.
Game 3: Orchard O's (L) (Irish) @ Hodgetts Ho's (W) (Mulji) (11-13)
Goals: (O's- Langley (4), Large (2), Ojo (2), Rider (2), Arbour (1). Ho's- Graffi (4), Beeson (3), Steele (2), Macdonell (2),
Czgledey (2))
Goalies: (O's- Irish (26/39, .666 sv.%, 13 GAA). Ho's- Mulji (32/43, .744 sv.%, 11 GAA)
Game 3 was close throughout but in the end the Ho's managed to pull out a crucial victory securing a 5th playoff game. Veteran Arman Mulji was placed back in net for the Ho's after a dissapointing 40.5 GAA last game and on the other side, Spencer Irish was put back in for his second game in a row and he continued his strong play from last game. Arman Mulji played stellar in net making several key saves. The line of Pat Langley Dan Large and Nic Arbour scored some key goals for the O's. The Grade 11 line for the Ho's consisting of Austin MacDonell Cody Roberts and Alex Steele played amazing and kept the Ho's in front the whole game. Close throughout, Hodgetts enforcer, Justin Graffi scored four goals including the winner, stopping the O's hot pace from the last game. All this coupled with the veteran and star Arman Mulji in goal were too much for the O's. The much anticipated Game 4 will be played after the Spring Break.
Game 4: Orchard O's (W) (Irish) @ Hodgetts Ho's (L) (Mulji) (16-11)
Goals: (O's- Langley (3), Large
(2), Finney (3), Arbour (2), Young (4), Ojo (2) . Ho's- Graffi
(1),
Beeson (3), Steele (2), Roberts (2)
Czgledey
(2), Charlebois (2))
Goalies: (O's-
Irish (34/45, .755 sv.%, 13 GAA). Ho's- Mulji
(41/57, .719 sv.%, 11 GAA)
Game 4 was in the O's hands all the way through. Irish got the start once again, as the O's went with the hot tender. This game was
fairly normal and not much to be noted. A strong game by all members of the O's, and a good try by the HO's. Orchard looks to put
it away in game 5.
Game 5: Hodgetts Ho's (W) (Mulji) @ Orchard O's (L) (Irish) (14-13) OT
Goals: (O's- Langley (2), Large
(3), Finney (2), Ojo (2), Copeland (1), Young (1), Arbour (2). Ho's- Graffi
(2),
Beeson (4), Steele (1),
Roberts (3), Czgledey
(2), Charlebois (2))
Goalies: (O's- Irish (41/55 .745 sv.%, 12.6 GAA). Ho's- Mulji
(37/50, .740 sv.%, 11.6 GAA)
Game 5 was easily controlled by the Orchard O's all the way through until the third period when their offence and defence collapsed.
The goaltenders were stellar, as Irish and Mulji were even in the first allowing only 2 goals each. In the second, Irish only allowed 2
goals as Mulji surrendered more than 7. In the third though, Irish allowed 10 goals as his defence was virtually absent and his offence
seemed to have given up. Hodgett's managed to grab the win to push this series to game six. There is still life in HO town!
Game 6: Orchard O's (W) (Irish) @ Hodgetts Ho's (L) (Mulji) (18-12)
Goals: (O's- Langley (3), Large
(4), Finney (6), Irish (2), Copeland (1), Young (2) . Ho's- Graffi (1),
Beeson (3), Steele (2), Roberts (2)
Czgledey
(2), Charlebois (2))
Goalies: (O's- Young (11/14 .785 sv.%, 9 GAA), Irish (21/30 .700 sv.%, 13.5 GAA). Ho's- Mulji
(27/45, .600 sv.%, 18 GAA)
With the OHHA cup in the gym, the players were rowled up! Game 6 started with a huge burst from the HO's as they tallied 2 quick goals to start the scoring. Before anyone could blink though, the O's were on top 4-3. The game continued on this pace throughout as the teams exchanged a series of beauty plays, snipes and dirty re-bounds. Young played two nice periods, on pace for something just over an OHHA shutout (9 GAA) and was rockin' a .785 sv.% which is considered dirty in OHHA. Nonetheless, the O's coaching staff decided that it was time to reverse the trend that they had set of crashing in the third period, in fact the O's allowed more goals in the third period than any other period this season, and the HO's averaged more goals in the third period than any other period. For this reason, they wanted some fresh legs,
and as Warrick Copeland (former O) walked onto the premises, he quickly suited up for the team. The O's now had 2 pairs of fresh legs and were
ready to give it everything they had to avoid a game 7. With five minutes left it was 11-11, but the O's would not stand for another upset. Finney
exploded, scoring four quick goals in less than two minutes and Large put the icing on the cake by scoring a nice top shelf goal that would have
been worthy of a cheer at any other point, but since the O's were on a 7-0 role, the players just laughed it off. The O's remained victorious and
claimed the OHHA championship for the second year in a row! Congratulations Orchard O's on an amazing season, and to the HO's for completely
rebuilding their team into an extremely competitive one that made OHHA interesting!
Game 7: Cancelled, series won 4-2 by the Orchard O's
